>2010年12月より全空港的に無料Wi-Fiが提供されています。
他のサイトや新聞記事にも2010年よりWI-FIが無料になると書いてあったのですが、今まで一度も
無料の電波をキャッチできたことがなかったため、ホノルル国際空港にメールで問い合わせてみました。
その結果、2010年当時は計画し、発表したのですが、いまだに実現していないとのことでした。
代わりとして、ｓｈａｋａｎｅｔが有料のサービスを提供していますので、それを利用してください。
との返事が返ってきました。。。。
なんともアメリカ的だな～という思いが残りました。。。。。

Dear Sir:
In reply to the question in your e-mail, unfortunately, free WiFi is not
yet available at the Honolulu International Airport. As your e-mail states,
there were plans to introduce free WiFi but this has not come to fruition.
Besides computer kiosks that charge by the minute, Shakanet , the internet
provider at the airport, offers a subscription service for WiFi (h
ttp://hawaii.gov/hnl/customer-service/internet-services ).
I\'m sorry we do not yet have free WiFi here but please let me know if you
have any other questions on the Honolulu International Airport.
